Automatic wound closure system: closure of large wounds by stretching the skin around the wound

Large-wound treatment often requires autologous skin grafting or skin flap transfer, causing iatrogenic secondary injuries. Thus, we have developed an automatic wound closure system that consists of a stretch module, microcontroller, and touch screen.

This paper suggests a mental calculation that can be worked out rapidly by the operator in order to make judicious decisions expeditiously.
