Tissue‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles Define Diagnostic Biomarkers for Renal Cell Carcinoma
Tissue‐derived EVs reveal renal cell carcinoma subtype biomarkers (NDUFA4L2/VEGFA/APOC1). Validated in urinary EVs (AUC 0.92), these markers originate from cancer cells and tumour‐associated macrophages via scRNA‐seq, enabling non‐invasive diagnosis and mechanistic insights into RCC progression.

Engineered Bacteroides fragilis outer membrane vesicles carrying anti‐IL‐1β scFv and kidney‐targeting peptides alleviate renal inflammation and injury in CKD mouse models via precise delivery and NF‐κB inhibition. ABSTRACT Microinflammation is a key driver of chronic kidney disease (CKD) progression, with interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) playing a pivotal role ...

Here, we reveal that pulmonary endothelium‐derived EVs aggravate lung inflammation via destabilizing Tregs during ALI/ARDS. Mechanistically, Tregs absorbs EV‐Med1, which promotes the secretion of IL‐21. This cytokine in turn induces hyper‐phosphorylation of STAT3 in Tregs thus induing loss of Foxp3, creating an hyperinflammatory ALI/ARDS ...

ABSTRACT Bilirubin is a breakdown product of erythrocytes and plays a crucial role in elimination of heme‐containing proteins. After its synthesis in the reticuloendothelial system, unconjugated bilirubin is released into plasma and taken up into the liver.
