Ajmaline in WPW syndrome: an electrophysiologic study
American Heart Journal, 1980Six patients including three females with WPW syndrome (three with type A and three with type B) presenting with recurrent paroxysmal tachyarrhythmia were subject to electrophysiological studies. Apart from basal parameters, rapid atrial and ventricular pacing was done which confirmed electrophysiological characteristics of bundle of Kent operation.

WPW and preexcitation syndromes.
The Journal of the Association of Physicians of India, 2008Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome is a disorder characterized by presence of an accessory pathway which predisposes patients to tachyarrhythmias and sudden death. Among patients with WPW syndrome, atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia (AVRT) is the most common arrhythmia, accounting for 95% of re-entrant tachycardias. It has been estimated that one-third

Abstract Two cases are presented which demonstrate the control of intermittent WPW syndrome by respiratory maneuvers. Electrocardiograms and quantitative vectorcardiograms are presented. One case was also studied by exercise tolerance, simulated altitude, and hypoxia.

[Esophageal stimulation in WPW syndrome].
Vnitrni lekarstvi, 1992Transoesophageal stimulation of the atria combined with bicycle ergometry provides a satisfactory reproducibility of a number of basic electrophysiological parameters at rest and during a load. Due to the good sensitivity and low specificity this test can be recommended in WPW syndrome as a screening examination in particular in active sportsmen and ...
