Pre-Excited Atrial Fibrillation Degenerating Into Ventricular Fibrillation Captured by an Automated External Defibrillator. [PDF]
An automated external defibrillator (AED) captured the real‐time transition from pre‐excited atrial fibrillation to ventricular fibrillation in a previously undiagnosed patient with WPW syndrome. This case highlights the malignant potential of rapidly conducting accessory pathways.

PRKAG2 and PRKAG3 genes in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome: a literature review
Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is a syndrome with early ventricular excitation due to the abnormal electrical conduction through an accessory atrioventricular pathway, and is usually accompanied by supraventricular tachycardia.

Concealed Wolff–Parkinson–White Syndrome revealed by acute coronary syndrome
Wolff–Parkinson–White (WPW) syndrome is a conduction disturbance in which atrial impulses are transmitted to the ventricles by an accessory pathway instead of the normal atrioventricular conduction.

Ebstein's anomaly as a cause of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation [PDF]
Background. Ebstein's anomaly is characterized by a displacement of the tricuspid valve toward apex, because of anomalous attachment of the tricuspid leaflets.

Do Stimulants Promote Arrhythmic Risk: Insights From a Human-Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Cardiomyocyte Model. [PDF]
At clinically relevant plasma concentrations, stimulant medications produced minimal effects on conduction velocity but modulated automaticity and repolarization in a hiPSC‐derived cardiomyocyte (hiPSC‐CM) model. These findings provide a foundation for future investigations of stimulant‐associated cardiac safety and support the utility of hiPSC‐CM ...

Management of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in a patient with peripartum cardiomyopathy
Wolf-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome is a congenital heart condition in which the atrioventricular (AV) node is bypassed by an accessory pathway that connects the atria and ventricle directly along with symptoms of syncope or palpitations. WPW syndrome in

Anaesthetic management of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome for hysterectomy
Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is an uncommon cardiac disorder having an aberrant pathway between atria and ventricles. We are reporting a known case of WPW syndrome for hysterectomy under combined spinal epidural anaesthesia.

Pre-excited atrial fibrillation revealed at a very delayed age: case report
Background Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome is a condition characterized by the persistence of an accessory pathway responsible for ventricular pre-excitation that can lead to symptomatic and potentially severe arrhythmias.
