A note on the improved sparse Hanson-Wright inequalities [PDF]
In this paper, we establish sparse Hanson-Wright inequalities for quadratic forms of sparse $\alpha$-sub-exponential random vectors where $\alpha \in (0,2]$. When only considering the regime $0 < \alpha \leq 1$, we derive a sharper sparse Hanson-Wright inequality that achieves optimality in certain special cases. These results generalize some classical

Another Proof of Wright's Inequalities [PDF]
We present a short way of proving the inequalities obtained by Wright in [Journal of Graph Theory, 4: 393 - 407 (1980)] concerning the number of connected graphs with $\ell$ edges more than vertices.

12 TIPS for Implementing Peer Instruction in Medical Education
Peer Instruction (PI) is a vibrant instructional strategy, used successfully for over two decades in undergraduate physics and mathematics courses. It has had limited use and few publications in medical education.

Physical recycling of polyamides (PAs) requires high temperatures due to solvent resistance. Rapid dissolution of PAs in formic acid (FA) using a cosolvent strategy enables room‐temperature recycling and upcycling for utilization of high‐value resources.

Data‐Driven Review on Aerogels and Polymeric Aerogels
A review goes to data‐driven. An exhaustive literature survey provides an overview of research status on aerogels, a category of highly porous solids with unique physicochemical properties. Statistical/data‐driven analysis tells us positive/negative aspects; aerogels have a promising potential to contribute to emerging energy/environmental issues ...

High‐Pressure Synthesis of Nitrogen‐rich Y(N5)3·N2 Pentazolate with Perovskite Topology
The discovery and stabilization of the cyclo‐N5⁻ anion have introduced a class of pentazolate compounds with significant potential as high‐energy‐density materials. This potential could be further enhanced by increasing the pentazolate‐to‐metal ratio. Here, we report the high‐pressure high‐temperature synthesis and characterization of a novel yttrium ...
