Minimizing endpoint variability through reinforcement learning during reaching movements involving shoulder, elbow and wrist. [PDF]
Reaching movements are comprised of the coordinated action across multiple joints. The human skeleton is redundant for this task because different joint configurations can lead to the same endpoint in space.

Trajectories of Physical Function in Canadian Children With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
Objective We describe trajectories of physical function in children newly diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and identify trajectories with persisting functional impairments and associated baseline characteristics. Methods We included patients enrolled in the Canadian Alliance of Pediatric Rheumatology Investigators (CAPRI) Registry ...

ARTHROGRAPHY OF THE RHEUMATOID WRIST JOINT [PDF]
The arthrographic findings in rheumatoid wrist joints are correlated with those in non-rheumatoid patients. Soft tissue abnormalities precede the subchondral bone changes seen on conventional roentgenography.A combination of two or more of the listed arthrographic abnormalities tends to confirm the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.

The instability of wrist joint and total wrist replacement
Total wrist arthroplasty are not used as widely as total knee and hip replacement. The functional hands are requiring surgeons to design a durable and functional satisfying prosthesis. This article will list the main reasons that cause the failure of the prosthesis.

A flexure‐based variable stiffness structure is developed by integrating phase‐change modulation and adhesive interfacial locking of gallium. The design enables a wide stiffness variability, transitioning from soft, flexible behavior to rigid, load‐supporting performance.

ABSTRACT Traditional wearable exoskeletons rely on rigid structures, which limit comfort, flexibility, and everyday usability. This work introduces the fundamental technologies to create the first soft, lightweight, intelligent textile‐based exoskeletons (Texoskeletons) built using 1D sensors and actuators.
