The Relationship Between Health Care Discrimination and Disabled People's Emergency Department Utilization

ABSTRACT Disabled people, including those with chronic illnesses, visit the emergency room significantly more often than nondisabled people. Research indicates a correlation between access to health care and emergency department utilization. The inequitable care disabled people receive contributes to their unmet health care needs.

Some jurisdictions have many fewer children who struggle with reading than other jurisdictions, as these graphs from our research paper illustrate. Robust research evidence shows that for children with reading difficulties multiple component teaching is more effective than synthetic phonics foremost.

Abstract Shifting class compositions and the fragmentations of localised workforces are key developments for labour struggle. This paper argues that two major, interlinked processes are central to these fragmentations: the multiplication of labour through border capitalism and the devaluation of racialised labour under racial capitalism.
