Writer identification by writer's invariants
Proceedings Eighth International Workshop on Frontiers in Handwriting Recognition, 2003This communication deals with the problem of writer identification. If the assumption of writing individuality is true then graphical fragments that constitute it should be individual too. Therefore we propose a morphological grapheme based analysis to make writer identification. Template Matching is the core of the approach.

Methods for writer identification
Proceedings of Third International Conference on Electronics, Circuits, and Systems, 2002Relatively simple methods for writer identification are presented in this work. The problems related to image acquisition, image preprocessing, feature selection and extraction as well as clustering and identification are analyzed. A couple of features is proposed towards a better discrimination result.

Writer Retrieval and Writer Identification Using Local Features
2012 10th IAPR International Workshop on Document Analysis Systems, 2012Writer identification determines the writer of one document among a number of known writers where at least one sample is known. Writer retrieval searches all documents of one particular writer by creating a ranking of the similarity of the handwriting in a dataset.
