Written communications in psychotherapy
British Journal of Medical Psychology, 1980Psychotherapists frequently receive unsolicited written communications from their patients. Surprisingly, this phenomenon has received scant attention in the literature. This paper suggests possible reasons, and offers a conceptual framework for understanding and using such material in treatment.
