Photo‐BQCA: Positive Allosteric Modulators Enabling Optical Control of the M1 Receptor
Photoswitchable allosteric modulators for the Class A of a G protein‐coupled receptor, themuscarinic acetylcholine receptor subtype 1 (M1R) were developed based on the allosteric modulator benzyl quinolone carboxylic acid (BQCA) exploiting its flat structure–activity relationships.
