Multi‐Criterion Stability Evaluation and Surface Boundary Method for Slopes

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Slope failure generally starts from a single point, where a local failure surface forms, and then progresses to the overall failure. Based on this behavior, this paper proposes a multi‐criterion stability evaluation approach for describing progressive failure process of slope.

Impact of Overpressure on the Deep Shale Pore System─A Case Study of Wufeng–Longmaxi Formations from the Southern Sichuan Basin

open access: yesACS Omega, 2023
This study investigated the effect of overpressure on the deep shale pore system in the Wufeng-Longmaxi Formation (WLF), a well-established shale gas reservoir in the southern Sichuan Basin, China. The Y1 well was drilled to explore deeper overpressured sections of the basin.

Accumulation condition for Wufeng-Longmaxi Formation shale gas of Yanjin-Gongxian area

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2016
The formation conditions of shale gas in Wufeng-Longmaxi Formation of Yanjin-Gongxian area were analyzed on the basis of field observation and experimental data, and then the main factors for shale gas accumulation were discussed. Results show that black shale at the bottom of Wufeng-Longmaxi Formation is a deep-water shelf deposit product.
