Representing Dataset Quality Metadata using Multi-Dimensional Views
Data quality is commonly defined as fitness for use. The problem of identifying quality of data is faced by many data consumers. Data publishers often do not have the means to identify quality problems in their data.

LipoGels: Robust Self‐Lubricating Physically Cross‐Linked Alginate Hydrogels Embedded with Liposomes
Physically cross‐linked alginate hydrogels embedded with 1,2‐dipalmitoyl‐sn‐glycero‐3‐phosphocholine liposomes (LipoGels) are prepared under optimized conditions to avoid shrinkage and achieve structural uniformity. LipoGels demonstrate robust mechanical strength (Young's modulus ≈1 MPa), excellent lubrication (friction coefficient ≈0.021), and ...

pH‐Tunable Material Properties of Glycine‐Rich Condensates from Tick Bioadhesive
This work studies the influence of pH on the phase separation behavior of a disordered glycine‐rich protein found in tick bioadhesive. The results show profound impact on the propensity of coacervation, condensate microstructure and viscosity, amphiphilicity of the peptides, and effective encapsulation of therapeutic molecules.

Empirical Study of the 1-2-3 Trend Indicator [PDF]
In this paper we study automatically recognized trends and investigate their statistics. To do that we introduce the notion of a wavelength for time series via cross correlation and use this wavelength to calibrate the 1-2-3 trend indicator of Maier ...

3D porous carbons with tunable density are crucial for energy storage, separations, and load‐bearing applications; however, their fabrication is often constrained by shrinkage during pyrolysis. This study optimizes and demonstrates the versatility of a template–coating pair strategy, producing materials that largely retain their shape and hierarchical ...

NGC 346 in The Small Magellanic Cloud. IV. Triggered Star Formation in the HII Region N66
Stellar feedback, expanding HII regions, wind-blown bubbles, and supernovae are thought to be important triggering mechanisms of star formation. Stellar associations, being hosts of significant numbers of early-type stars, are the loci where these ...
