Ni Supported on Urea‐Modified LaFeO3 Perovskite for Efficient Hydrogenolysis of Polyethylene Plastics

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 10, 27 May 2026.
A‐site vacancy engineering of LaFeO3 perovskites enables simultaneous tuning of Ni electronic structure and hydrogen spillover, leading to enhanced polyethylene hydrogenolysis. The optimized Ni/2U‐LFO catalyst exhibits superior activity and liquid/wax yield, highlighting a general strategy for designing efficient non‐noble‐metal catalysts for plastic ...

Interfacial P‐Band Modulation in Bismuth for Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction Over Wide pH Ranges

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 5, Issue 3, May 2026.
In‐situ electrochemical reconstruction creates sulfur‐coordinated bismuth active sites that modulate the p‐band center via enhanced p–p orbital hybridization. This correlation between sulfur coordination and orbital delocalization establishes a descriptor‐based design principle for selective CO2 electroreduction.

Evaluation of the Color Changing of Flux‐Synthesized Beryl by Ni Doping Using CIE1976 Color Parameters

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 13, 1 May 2026.
Comprehensive quantitative analysis of the relationship between NiO concentration and CIE1976 color parameters in Ni‐beryl crystals. Rough beryl contains various transition metal species owing to its geological formation conditions, and their concentrations largely determine the resulting crystal's color—a key physical property that strongly influences

Isoreticular Metal–Covalent Organic Frameworks With Engineered π‐Conjugation for Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

open access: yesElectron, Volume 4, Issue 2, May 2026.
By constructing an isoreticular Cu3‐cluster‐based metal–covalent organic framework platform with systematically tunable π‐conjugation, the physicochemical properties can be finely modulated within a well‐defined structural framework, thereby establishing a precise conjugation–performance correlation to govern the charge separation/transport, and thus ...
