X-ray irradiation of the winds in binaries with massive components
Binaries with hot massive components are strong X-ray sources. Besides the intrinsic X-ray emission of individual binary members originating in their winds, X-ray emission stems from the accretion on the compact companion or from wind collision.

Constraining the nature of the accreting binary in CXOGBS J174623.5-310550 [PDF]
We report optical and infrared observations of the X-ray source CXOGBS J174623.5-310550. This Galactic object was identified as a potential quiescent low-mass X-ray binary accreting from an M-type donor on the basis of optical spectroscopy and the broad ...

Neutron Stars in X-ray Binaries and their Environments [PDF]
Neutron stars in X-ray binary systems are fascinating objects that display a wide range of timing and spectral phenomena in the X-rays. Not only parameters of the neutron stars, like magnetic field strength and spin period evolve in their active binary phase, the neutron stars also affect the binary systems and their immediate surroundings in many ways.

Discovery of a New Phase-transient Cyclotron Line in A0535+26: Constraints on the Accretion Geometry
In 2020 November, A0535+26 underwent one of its brightest outbursts, reaching nearly 12 Crab in X-ray flux. Observed by Insight-HXMT, NuSTAR, NICER, and AstroSat, this event provided valuable insights into Be/X-ray binaries.

Spectroscopic classification of X-ray sources in the Galactic Bulge Survey [PDF]
We present the classification of 26 optical counterparts to X-ray sources discovered in the Galactic Bulge Survey. We use (time-resolved) photometric and spectroscopic observations to classify the X-ray sources based on their multi-wavelength properties.

Optical Sources Near the Bright X-Ray Source in NGC 1073 [PDF]
New HST observations show that the bright X-ray source in the face-on spiral galaxy NGC 1073 is located near a ring of recent star formation with an age of 8-16 Myr. This strengthens the association of X-ray sources in spiral galaxies emitting near or above the Eddington limit for a 20 solar mass black hole with recent star formation events.

Millisecond Oscillations in X-Ray Binaries [PDF]
▪ Abstract The first millisecond X-ray variability phenomena from accreting compact objects have recently been discovered with the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer. Three new phenomena are observed from low-mass X-ray binaries containing low-magnetic-field neutron stars: millisecond pulsations, burst oscillations, and kilohertz quasi-periodic oscillations.

Viscous timescale in high mass X-ray binaries [PDF]
Context: Low mass X-ray binaries were found to have very low frequency breaks in their power density spectra below which the power density spectra are nearly in white noise structure and at higher frequencies they approximately follow the $P_\nu \propto \
