A compact handheld GelSight probe reconstructs in vivo 3‐D skin topography with micron‐level precision using a custom elastic gel and a learning‐based surface normal to height map pipeline. The device quantifies wrinkle depth across various body locations and detects changes in wrinkle depth following moisturizer application.

Thermonuclear Superburst of MAXI J1752−457 Observed with NinjaSat and MAXI
An uncatalogued bright X-ray transient was detected with MAXI on 2024 November 9, named MAXI J1752−457. The NinjaSat X-ray observatory promptly observed the source from November 10 to 18, while the small angular separation from the Sun hampered follow-up

Neutron star masses in X-ray binaries [PDF]
We discuss the determination of neutron star masses in X-ray binaries and explain the importance of such measurements. Examples are given of two of our recent neutron star mass determinations, in Cen X-3 and Vela X-1. We then discuss prospects for improving such measurements with SALT and the possibility of determining only the seventh neutron star ...

Real‐Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging with an Ultra‐Sparse, Low Power Architecture
This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.

Discovery of a Rare Eclipsing Be/X-Ray Binary System, Swift J010902.6-723710 = SXP 182
We report on the discovery of Swift J010902.6-723710, a rare eclipsing Be/X-ray Binary system by the Swift SMC Survey (S-CUBED). Swift J010902.6-723710 was discovered via weekly S-CUBED monitoring observations when it was observed to enter a state of X ...
