opXRD: Open Experimental Powder X‐Ray Diffraction Database
We introduce the Open Experimental Powder X‐ray Diffraction Database, the largest openly accessible collection of experimental powder diffractograms, comprising over 92,000 patterns collected across diverse material classes and experimental setups. Our ongoing effort aims to guide machine learning research toward fully automated analysis of pXRD data ...

Structural Studies of Mercury-Modified Amorphous Films of the Selenium-Antimony System
The structure of mercury-modified amorphous films of the Se-Sb system was studied using the methods of X-ray diffractometry and Raman spectroscopy. It was ascertained that the structure of the phase that formed in the amorphous matrix of the films after ...

Memristors based on trimethylsulfonium (phenanthroline)tetraiodobismuthate have been utilised as a nonlinear node in a delayed feedback reservoir. This system allowed an efficient classification of acoustic signals, namely differentiation of vocalisation of the brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula).

Computation of the inverse Laplace Transform based on a Collocation method which uses only real values [PDF]
We develop a numerical algorithm for inverting a Laplace transform (LT), based on Laguerre polynomial series expansion of the inverse function under the assumption that the LT is known on the real axis only.

Glucosamine HCl-based solid dispersions to enhance the biopharmaceutical properties of acyclovir [PDF]
The objective of the work presented here was to assess the feasibility of using glucosamine HCl as a solid-dispersion (SD) carrier to enhance the biopharmaceutical properties of a BCS class III/IV drug, acyclovir (ACV). The solid-dispersions of acyclovir

Hydrothermal synthesis, off-axis electron holography and magnetic properties of Fe$_{3}$O$_{4}$ nanoparticles [PDF]
The hydrothermal synthesis of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) (< 50 nm) from mixed FeCl3 / FeCl2 precursor solution at pH ~ 12 has been confirmed using complementary characterisation techniques of transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry.

A core–shell strategy is presented to overcome the high first‐cycle losses of non‐graphitic hard carbon anodes. Activated carbon is sealed by gas‐phase carbon deposition to create semi‐permeable shells that spatially separate SEI formation from Na storage in a retained nanoporous core. The resulting anode delivers 400 ± 24 mAh g−1 with an ICE of 82 ± 2%

Thermodynamic and Kinetic Analysis of Cobaltite Oxidation Process [PDF]
In this paper results of the thermodynamic and kinetic analysis of cobaltite oxidation process were presented. Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (ED-XRF) were used to determine the ...

Defects production and annealing in self-implanted Si [PDF]
230-keV 28Si ions were implantated into Si(100) at room temperature with doses from 1014 to 1015/cm2. The samples were analyzed by x-ray double crystal diffractometry and 2-MeV 4He ion channeling spectrometry.
