Discovering the Mass-Scaled Damping Timescale from Microquasars to Blazars

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Studying the variability of the accretion disks of black holes and jets is important to identify their internal physical processes. In this Letter, we obtain the characteristic damping timescale of 34 blazars and 7 microquasars from the Fermi-Large Area ...

A Beating‐Heart Procedure with Soft Robotic Guidance

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, Volume 1, Issue 1, April 2025.
Robot‐assisted pacemaker lead placement through the coronary sinus enabled cardiac pacing in multiple in vivo studies. When compared with conventional clinical tools, the robot reduced procedural time, duration of harmful radiation exposure, and the possibility of tissue damage.

Closing the Loop: Low‐Waste Phosphorus Functionalization Enabled by Simple Disulfides

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 7, April 1, 2025.
Remarkably simple disulfides can be used to mediate the oxidative transformation of elemental phosphorus and diverse nucleophiles directly into useful P1 products. The reaction can be employed as part of a two‐step closed loop which produces minimal waste, and the key disulfide can even be employed in a fully catalytic manner.

A New X-Ray Census of Rotation Powered Pulsars

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
To date, over 4000 pulsars have been detected. In this study, we identify 231 X-ray counterparts of Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF) pulsars by performing a spatial cross match across the Chandra, XMM-Newton observational catalogs.
