Oxygen‐Tunnel Indium Tin Oxide Vertical Channel Transistors with Enhanced Current Density and Reliability for Monolithic 3D Compute‐In‐Memory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection

X-ray computed tomography

open access: yesNature Reviews Methods Primers, 2021
X-ray computed tomography (CT) can reveal the internal details of objects in three dimensions non-destructively. In this Primer, we outline the basic principles of CT and describe the ways in which a CT scan can be acquired using X-ray tubes and synchrotron sources, including the different possible contrast modes that can be exploited.

X-Ray Tomography in Scattering Media

SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 1996
Summary: We treat the problem of tomography of a medium with a high scattering level. A mathematical approach has been developed for an investigation of the radiation field. Based on these results a special source-detectors configuration is proposed.

X-ray tomography of whole cells

Current Opinion in Structural Biology, 2005
X-ray tomography has been shown to provide insights into the internal structure of whole cells that can't be obtained by any other means. With recent advances in instrumentation and the advent of automated cryogenic sample stages, it has become possible to collect isotropic tomographic data from radiation-sensitive cells and to compute reconstructions ...

Circularly coded x-ray tomography

Applied Optics, 1984
A 3-D radiographic transmission tomography technique based on coded-aperture imaging is described. In this technique an x-ray source moving on a circular path parallel to the film projects an image of the object onto the film and convolves this image with a circle.

X-ray computed tomography

Physics in Medicine and Biology, 2006
X-ray computed tomography (CT), introduced into clinical practice in 1972, was the first of the modern slice-imaging modalities. To reconstruct images mathematically from measured data and to display and to archive them in digital form was a novelty then and is commonplace today.

X-ray tomography by grid coding

Applied Optics, 1980
Three-dimensional objects are coded using a crossbar grid by an array of simultaneously flashed x-ray tubes. This is a new version of flashing tomosynthesis. The technique is experimentally tested using radiographs of a heart phantom.

X-ray tomography of Schizosaccharomyces pombe

Differentiation, 2007
The genetic tractability of the unicellular yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe has resulted in it becoming an important model organism for the study of many eukaryotic cellular processes, in particular cell division. Over the past few years much progress has been made toward understanding the mechanisms that regulate eukaryotic cell division and the ...

X-ray tomography for microstructural objects

Applied Optics, 1981
A high-resolution high-contrast x-ray tomography system for imaging the structure of submillimeter-sized objects is constructed. A precise data acquisition mechanism to realize a sharp pencil beam, use of an optimum x-ray band to achieve high contrast, deconvolution processing to restore blurred projections, and the iterative revision method to ...

X‐ray‐transmission computed tomography

Medical Physics, 1977
The immediate goal of clinically based x‐ray‐transmission computed tomography (CT) is to provide a measurement of the x‐ray linear attenuation coefficient in cross section with the ultimate goal of impacting on patient managerment and care. To do this with the accuracy needed for clinical goals requires the careful integration of x‐ray physics ...
