Bilateral xanthoma of the Achilles tendon
Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica, 2021 Xanthoma is associated with a specific disturbance of lipid metabolism. Xanthoma of the Achilles tendon is a rather rare disease. 173 cases were found in the English literature by Fahey. Only fifteen of them had surgical treatment of their lesions.
