Study of Antagonistic Proteins of Bacteria to Xanthomonas Oryzae Pv. Oryzae
1993130 antagonistic bacterial strains which could inhibit the growth of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae were isolated from rhizosphere, phyllosphere, atmosphere and other places. Several antagonistic peptides from Bacillus cereus strain G35, B.suhtilis strain P11 and B826, B. sp.

The Role of AvrXa7 of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae in Resistance and Disease
2001AvrXa7 is dual acting member of the avrBs3 gene family, which encodes proteins targeted to plant cells by the Hrp type III secretion apparatus. AvrXa7, the product of avrXa7, elicits resistance to bacterial blight disease in rice harboring the gene Xa7 and is a virulence factor in strain PX086 of X. oryzae pv. oryzae.
