Ksanthos şehrinin su ihtiyacı Roma devrinden kalma bir su yoluyla besleniyordu. 9,5 kilometre uzunluğundaki bu eser kaba yontma taşlı birkaç kaynağı bir kanalda toplayan bir dehlizle başlıyordu. Genişliği 40 santimetre, derinliği 75 santimetre olan bu kaptaj kanalı yüzeyle eş seviyede, oldukça iyi korunmuştur.
