Syn-volcanic melt-rock reactions recorded in peridotitic xenoliths from Scania, S Sweden
Peridotite xenoliths from Scania (S Sweden), brought to the surface by Mesozoic basanitic magmas, provide insights into the lithospheric mantle underlying the East European Craton.

The Mantle and Basalt-Crust Interaction Below the Mount Taylor Volcanic Field, New Mexico [PDF]
The Mount Taylor Volcanic Field (MTVF) lies on the Jemez Lineament on the southeastern margin of the Colorado Plateau. The field is centered on the Mt. Taylor composite volcano and includes Mesa Chivato to the NE and Grants Ridge to the WSW.

How Cratonic Roots Survive With Weak Mid‐Lithosphere Discontinuities
The stability of cratons has long been attributed to their neutral buoyancy and strong roots. However, recent seismic studies have revealed widespread mid‐lithospheric discontinuities (MLDs) within cratonic roots.

Geodynamic implications of xenolith geotherms
Studies of xenolith suites yield depth‐temperature arrays for the lithosphere at the time of eruption. These studies constrain the conductive heat flow through the lithosphere and limit the temperature range across the rheological boundary layer to <300 K. Numerical models of convection illustrate features that may be found within suites of samples.
