Xe-129 nuclear resonance scattering on solid Xe and Xe-129 clathrate hydrate
2013Nuclear inelastic and nuclear forward-scattering experiments utilizing the Xe-129 Mossbauer resonance were performed on solid Xe and enriched Xe-129 clathrate hydrate. The lifetime and energy of the nuclear resonance were determined to be 1.465(72) ns and 39581.30(4) eV, respectively.

Rb-Xe spin relaxation in dilute Xe mixtures
Physical Review A, 2001We present measurements of spin-relaxation of Rb atoms in He(98%)-N2(1%)-Xe(1%) mixtures similar to those used in magnetic resonance imaging polarizers. The pressure dependence allows us to separate out contributions from Rb-Xe van der Waals molecules and binary collisions.

On the Xe-Xe potential energy curve and related properties
Molecular Physics, 1986A simple accurate potential of the HFD-B form is presented which appears to be the best characterization of the Xe-Xe interaction to be constructed to date. It reproduces, within experimental error, such dilute gas macroscopic properties as virial coefficients, viscosities and thermal conductivities over a wide temperature range.

A comparison of Xe(3P1) and Xe(3P2) quenching reactions
Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology A: Chemistry, 1989Abstract The relative total quenching rate constants for Xe( 3 P 1 ) by 21 molecules at 300 K were measured using the sensitization technique. The results are compared with those of Xe( 3 P 2 ). Product channels for quenching of Xe( 3 P 1 are also discussed.

The experimental data on VUV and UV cathodoluminescence spectra of ternary solid solution Kr???Xe???D??? and binary solid cryoalloys Xe???D???, Kr???D???, and Xe?????r are presented. The intensity distribution of spectral bands as function of dopant concentration and the dose dependencies of luminescence were studied.
