A Super‐Pangenome for Cultivated Citrus Reveals Evolutive Features During the Allopatric Phase of Their Reticulate Evolution

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, Page 3345-3367, May 2026.
Structure of the cultivated citrus super‐pangenome. ABSTRACT The main genetic diversity observed in cultivated citrus results from a reticulate evolution involving four ancestral taxa whose radiation occurred in allopatry. In such context, GWAS analysis, genome diversity and transcriptomic studies will be significantly enhanced through pangenome ...

Haplotype‐Resolved Genome Assembly and Population Genomics Reveal Evolutionary History and Agronomic Traits of Mulberry

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 4, Page 2105-2122, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Mulberry is a representative economic tree species valued for both poverty alleviation and medicinal use. To advance the understanding of mulberry genomics and demography, we assembled high‐quality haploid genomes of two widely cultivated mulberry varieties NS14 and QS1, and analysed 376 accessions from 12 countries, including 39 ancient trees

Effectiveness of supporting protocols (XP-ENDO FINISHER AND XPENDO FINISHER R) in the removal of filling material in mesial roots of mandibular molars

open access: yes, 2020
The present study aims to compare the effectiveness of removal of obturator material during endodontic retreatment through different systems. Thus, forty lower molars with mesial roots separated from distal roots and mesial roots separated from each ...

In Vitro Comparison of Gutta-Percha Removal Using XP Endo Finisher and ProTaper With or Without Organic Solvent by Scanning Electron Microscope

open access: yesJournal of Umm Al-Qura University for Medical Science, 2020
Introduction: Non-surgical endodontic retreatment is highly dependent on the removal of previous root filling material, bacteria and necrotic tissue. Various techniques and instruments have been used for endodontic retreatment.

Autophagy Activators Normalize Aberrant Tau Proteostasis and Rescue Synapses in Human Familial Alzheimer's Disease iPSC‐Derived Cortical Organoids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 17, 23 March 2026.
A new cerebrocortical organoid model using isogenic hiPSCs with familial Alzheimer's mutations recapitulates key AD features, including amyloid‐beta and phospho‐Tau aggregation, neuronal hyperexcitability, and synapse loss. Single‐cell RNA‐seq reveals aberrant pathways in excitatory and inhibitory neurons.

Effect of Heat and Irrigation Agitation on the Smear Layer Removal Ability of Calcium Hypochlorite: A Scanning Electron Microscope Study

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, Volume 89, Issue 1, Page 65-72, January 2026.
This study evaluated the smear layer removal efficacy of calcium hypochlorite with different heating and agitation techniques. The intracanal heated Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation group achieved the best cleaning, while the control group retained the most.

Neural Organoids Protect Engineered Heart Tissues From Glucolipotoxicity by Transferring Versican in a Co‐Culture System

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 1, January 2026.
In this study, Bai et al. established a co‐culture system between neural organoids (NOs) and engineered heart tissues (EHTs) and demonstrated that NOs could secrete versican, which was absorbed by EHTs to ameliorate glucolipotoxicity. ABSTRACT Metabolic disorders could cause dysregulated glucose and lipid at the systemic level, but how inter‐tissue ...
