Morphogenetic features of garnets from Dyukunakh placer (Yakutian diamondiferous province)
Ores and metals, 2021Morphological features of garnets from the Upper Paleozoic Dyukunakh placer were studied and the conditions of their morphogenesis were interpreted. As a result of the morphogenetic analysis, it was found that garnets have evolved in exogenous conditions, including extreme wear in coastal marine conditions and repeated redeposition.

The article reports new data on previously undescribed lamellar-like (linearly oriented) structures in clinopyroxenes from mantle xenoliths of garnet pyroxenites (Obnazhennaya pipe, Northern Siberia). The origin and mineral diversity of lamellar structures in xenoliths from the Obnazhennaya pipe are supposed to be related to a breakdown of solid ...

The data available indicate the complex evolution of deformed peridotites of mantle xenoliths, the P–T parameters of which indicate that they are fragments of the metasomatized lower part of the cratonic lithosphere. The zoning established in garnets from xenoliths in kimberlite pipes is interpreted as a result of metasomatism that occurred shortly ...

Upper Muna kimberlite field) showed that the crust at different levels is composed of pyroxene, garnet-pyroxene crystalline schists and garnet-pyroxene gneisses. Exsolution textures in pyroxenes and amphiboles, granat rims around grains of ilmenite and pyroxenes indicate that the mineral associations of crystalline schists were formed during cooling at
