Local normal forms for c-projectively equivalent metrics and proof of the Yano-Obata conjecture in arbitrary signature. Proof of the projective Lichnerowicz conjecture for Lorentzian metrics [PDF]
Two K\"ahler metrics on a complex manifold are called c-projectively equivalent if their $J$-planar curves coincide. These curves are defined by the property that the acceleration is complex proportional to the velocity.

Headwinds and Tailwinds of Trans‐Speakerism
ABSTRACT Trans‐speakerism is a concept rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion that strives to empower all language speakers, teachers, and researchers irrespective of their first languages, cultures, or speakerhoods. The surplus model of trans‐speakerism (based on who one already is and who one can become) rejects the deficit model of native ...

The rice transcription factor genes NAC20 and NAC26 regulate grain filling and show allele‐specific maternal expression due to transposable element insertions and paternal hypermethylation in their 5' upstream regions. Geographical analyses showed that japonica varieties that originated at high latitudes carried these transposable elements.

An Abstract Morimoto Theorem for Generalized $F$-structures
We abstract Morimoto's construction of complex structures on product manifolds to pairs of certain generalized $F$-structures on manifolds that are not necessarily global products.

Shock metamorphic effects in Itokawa phosphates: A comparison with megaregolith‐derived meteorites
Abstract Returned regolith samples from the asteroid Itokawa provide a unique opportunity to compare shock metamorphic effects in unconsolidated regolith materials with those preserved in lithified meteorites, that is, megaregolith. We analyzed four Itokawa particles (Ueda—RA‐QD02‐0519, Narahara—RA‐QD02‐0573, Domon—RA‐QD02‐0588, Ishiuchi—RX‐MD03‐0212 ...

The Dirac field in Taub-NUT background
We investigate the SO(4,1) gauge-invariant theory of the Dirac fermions in the external field of the Kaluza-Klein monopole, pointing out that the quantum modes can be recovered from a Klein-Gordon equation analogous to the Schr\" odinger equation in the ...

Abstract figure legend In rat and human adult ventricular myocytes, acute hyperglyceaemia (Glucose) causes increased glucose uptake (via GLUT) leading to O‐GlcNAcylation of CaMKII at Ser280, such that CaMKII activates NADPH oxidase 2 (NOX2) to increase cytosolic reactive oxygen species (ROS). That perturbs the ROS to Antioxidant (AntiOx) balance.

Abstract figure legend A sudden decrease in total peripheral resistance (TPR), as observed during vasovagal syncope, leads to a reduction in aortic systolic pressure (AO pressure) and afterload. In healthy individuals, the consequent decrease in left ventricular systolic pressure (LV pressure) lowers stroke work and myocardial energy expenditure.

Abstract figure legend Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) variants in N terminal (NTD) and central domain (CD) but not pore domain induce a pathological RyR2 conformational shift upon protein kinase A (PKA) phosphorylation, similar to that seen in heart failure (HF), calcium/calmodulin‐dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII ...

ABSTRACT Objectives Gel immersion endoscopic mucosal resection or endoscopic submucosal dissection has been developed as an alternative to saline immersion therapeutic endoscopy. However, in cases of gastrointestinal perforation, gel may leak from the lumen into the peritoneal cavity, and the safety of such events remains unclarified.
