The Yanshanian Orogeny and Two Kinds of Yanshanides in Eastern-Central China
Acta Geologica Sinica - English Edition, 2005The Tan-Lu Fault was once a transform fault in the Paleotethys, west of which was the Qinling-Dabie Ocean separating the Yangtze Craton from the North China Craton, and east of which was the Su-Lu Ocean separating the Su-Wan Block from the Jiao-Liao Craton. The Qinling-Dabie Ocean closed in the Indosinian orogeny, which created the China-Southeast Asia

Abstract It is an important project for present tectonics, to precisely research the time and space of detachment formation in the lithosphere, in geological history. According to collect a lot of collected data of on the magmatic source depths for of Eastern China during Yanshanian (205–135 Ma) and Sichuanian (135–52 Ma) tectonic stages, it is a ...

Three large-scale metallogenic events related to the Yanshanian Period in Southern China
2005Post-orogenic magmatism during the Yanshanian Period in southern China caused three major metallogenic events in South China. The first took place from ∼180 to 170 Ma (Early Yanshanian), and produced Cu Pb-Zn and polymetallic mineralization in northeastern Jiangxi and southeastern Hunan.

We present the results of Mesozoic sequences of the Bohai Bay basin in North China, based mainly on geochronology and interpretations of seismic profiles and logging data. Five tectono-stratigraphic sequences are defined: Lower-Middle Triassic, Lower-Middle Jurassic, Upper Jurassic, Lower Cretaceous and Upper Cretaceous.

Petrogenesis and significance of early Yanshanian syenite-granite complex in eastern Nanling Range
Science in China Series D, 2005In the eastern Nanling Range there exists the early Yanshanian syenite-granite assemblage. A representative example is the Pitou-Tabei complex composed of the Tabei syenite pluton and the Pitou syenogranite pluton in southern Jiangxi Province. U-Pb zircon dating yields ages of 188.6±2.2 Ma for the Tabei pluton and 186.3±1.1 Ma for the Pitou pluton. The

Early Yanshanian magmatic suites predominate absolutely in the Nanling granite belt. They consist mainly of monzogranite and K-feldspar granite. There occur associations of early Yanshanian A-type granitoids (176 Ma—178 Ma) and bimodal volcanic rocks (158 Ma—179 Ma) in southern Jiangxi and southwestern Fujian in the eastern sector of the granite belt ...

Abstract The system of extensional structures in the west of Shandong Province is located on the east margin of the China continental block and on the west side of the Tangcheng-Lujiang fault. Complex crustal movements occurred in the region after the Late Triassic. The system of extensional structures is composed of a linked system of faults, formed

Genesis and Tectonic Setting of Yanshanian Magmatic Rocks in the Northern Margin of South China Sea
Yanshanian magmatic rocks are widely distributed in the northern margin of the South China Sea and the continental margin of South China. These magmatic rocks are generally believed to have been formed by the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific plate to the South China Plate from Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous.fanrong lu, junfeng zhao
