Electrochemical Phosphate Sensors With Sub‐Nanomolar Detection Limit Based on Selective and Reversible Europium(III) Receptors

open access: yesEcoMat, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
This work presents an electrochemical phosphate detection platform by integrating europium receptors into amperometric and organic electrochemical transistor sensors. These configurations enabled real‐time, selective, reversible phosphate sensing in artificial interstitial fluid and Mississippi Sound water samples, demonstrating their potential for ...

Investigating the influence of climate and volcanic surface aging on fluvial erosion: A case study of Réunion Island, Indian Ocean

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, Volume 51, Issue 4, April 2026.
Réunion Island is marked by gradients in both precipitation and surface age. Analyzing correlations between metrics related to precipitation, age, and drainage basin morphology, we demonstrate how volcanic surface age impacts the effects of average precipitation and precipitation variability on fluvial erosion.

Raman Signature of the Wings of the Globe Skimmer Dragonfly: Pantala flavescens

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, Volume 57, Issue 4, Page 578-588, April 2026.
Raman spectroscopy is used to confirm the presence of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and related derivatives including aldehydes, halides, alcohols, acids, esters, and phenols on the wings of Pantala flavescens. The analysis indicates that wing‐surface lipid composition is largely consistent across the three main ecological zones in Ghana. Notably,
