A microsatellite marker for yellow rust resistance in wheat
Bulk segregant analysis (BSA) was used to identify molecular markers associated with yellow rust disease resistance in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). DNAs isolated from the selected yellow rust tolerant and susceptible F2 individuals derived from a cross between yellow rust resistant and susceptible wheat genotypes were used to established a “tolerant ...

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Slow Rusting Resistance in 19 Promising Wheat Lines to Yellow Rust in Ardabil, Iran
Yellow rust caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici is undoubtedly, the most important fungal disease of wheat especially in central and Western Asia that causes significant annual yield losses. Production and use of cultivars with durable resistance is the best controlling method.

A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Possibility of cereals protection against rusts by resistant breeding method
In the years 1999-2001 field trials were run on susceptibility of wheat and triticale genotypes to infection by three rust fungi (Puccinia recondita, Puccinia graminis, Puccinia striiformis).
