Uncovering novel pathogenicity-associated loci among Yersinia enterocolitica species by subtractive hybridization [PDF]

Pathology of Pseudotuberculosis in Mice Experimentally Infected with Yersinia pseudotuberculosis

Serum Cytokine Profiling Differentiates Underlying Diseases in Cytokine Storm Syndrome
Serum cytokine profiling was performed using Luminex (48 cytokines) and ELISA (5 cytokines). Assessment of key cytokines (IFN‐α, IL‐18, IL‐6, CXCL9) delineated five dominant inflammatory patterns: I, IFN‐α–dominant CSS; II, IL‐18–dominant CSS; III, IL‐6–dominant CSS; IV, IFN‐γ–dominant CSS; and V, IL‐6 & IFN‐γ intermediate CSS.

[Drug sensitivity of Yersinia enterocolitica and Yersinia pseudotuberculosis].
Drug-sensitivity of 70 strains of Y. enterocolitica and 24 of Y. pseudotuberculosis including reference strains and isolates from men or animals were determined by the agar plate-dilution method. All the strains of Y. enterocolitica were relatively resistant to penicillins and cephalosporins, while all of Y. pseudotuberculosis were sensitive to both of

Yersinia pseudotuberculosis and arthritis. [PDF]
In 1986 and 1987 nine patients with a raised antibody titre to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis were found. Two of these results were almost certainly due to the cross reactivity between some Y pseudotuberculosis serogroups and some salmonella serotypes. Of the other seven patients with otherwise unexplained Y pseudotuberculosis serology, three suffered ...
