Yield Estimation and Prediction

1990
Due to inherent fluctuations in any integrated circuit manufacturing process, the yield (which is nominally viewed as the ratio of the number of chips that perform correctly, i.e., meet all performance specifications, to the number of chips manufactured) is always less than 100%.

Agriculture yield prediction using predictive analytic techniques

2016 2nd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I), 2016
India's economy primarily depends on agriculture yield growth and their allied agro industry products. The agriculture yield prediction is the toughest task for agricultural departments across the globe. The agriculture yield depends on various factors.

Rice yield prediction from yield components and limiting factors

European Journal of Agronomy, 2002
Abstract This article aims to quantify growth at field level in relation to crop status and soil properties in irrigated direct-seeded rice. Forty fields were selected in the Ebro Delta (Spain). Rice growth was monitored and soil properties measured. Yield was related to soil properties by a deductive process identifying the yield determining factors.

Design centering by yield prediction

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1982
Design centering is an appropriate design tool for all types of electrical circuits to determine the nominal component values by considering the component tolerances. A new approach to design centering will be presented, which starts at the initial nominal values of the circuit parameters and improves these nominal values by maximizing the circuit ...

Yield and yield prediction of guinea grass pastures

1987
Native pastures are the most important source of feed for the livestock industry in St. Croix, U.S.V.I. One of the major constituents of these pastures is guinea qrass (Panicum maximum), found in well managed, properly stocked situations. To determine the dry matter production of this species, plots were established in existing swards located in ...

Predictable yield-driven circuit optimization

1992 IEEE Microwave Symposium Digest MTT-S, 2003
The authors present a comprehensive approach to predictable yield optimization. They utilize a new physics-based statistical GaAs MESFET model which combines the advantages of the DC Khatibzadeh and Trew model and the small-signal Ladbrooke formulas. The yield of a broadband amplifier was significantly improved after optimization.

Predicting Collector Well Yields with MODFLOW

Groundwater, 2012
Groundwater flow models are commonly used to design new wells and wellfields. As the spatial scale of the problem is large and much local‐scale detail is not needed, modelers often utilize two‐dimensional (2D) or quasi three‐dimensional models based on the Dupuit‐Forchheimer assumption.

Predictive yield modeling of VLSIC's

2000 5th International Workshop on Statistical Metrology (Cat.No.00TH8489, 2002
This paper presents a comprehensive methodology for predictive modeling of yield losses in modern VLSI technologies. The in-line defect detection and characterization methods are discussed and a new electrical characterization vehicle (CV) methodology is introduced.

Predicting yielding in attractive colloidal gels

Physical Review E
One of the defining characteristics of soft glassy materials is their ability to exhibit a yield stress, which can result in an overall elasto-visco-plastic mechanics. To design soft materials with specific properties, it is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of the topological and structural failure points that occur during yielding ...
