Nonlinear Asymmetric Blood Oxygenation Level Dependent Responses in Somatosensory Cortex

BOLD responses to increments and decrements in intensity of vibrotactile stimulation were asymmetric. Negative BOLD effects (decrements in signal) were smaller in amplitude and slower to peak compared with positive BOLD responses to increases of intensity. BOLD responses were nonlinear for changes in stimulus duration and intensity.

ABSTRACT Using proprietary transaction‐level data on nonsyndicated construction loans, we provide some of the first empirical evidence on the drivers and consequences of bank monitoring through on‐site inspections. Banks trade off monitoring intensity with favorable origination terms.

Nap1L4a Cooperates with Scl/Klf1 to Recruit H2A.Z in Mediating Interactions Among Cis‐Regulatory Elements and Transcription Required for Primitive Erythropoiesis in Zebrafish

Nap1l4a is required in erythropoiesis and hypoxia responses via physical interaction with Klf1 and Scl to recruit the histone variant H2A.Z. This facilitates its associated cis‐regulatory element (CRE) remodeling and the consequent chromatin assembly, and activates the transcription of erythroid lineage‐specific genes.
