Atom‐by‐Atom Multimetal CuMoP Deposition on Carbon Electrodes for Sensitive Antidiabetic Metformin Electrooxidation

open access: yesAnalytical Science Advances, Volume 7, Issue 1, June 2026.
An atom‐by‐atom ternary Cu–Mo–P nanocomposite is electrochemically co‐deposited onto screen‐printed carbon electrodes to create a highly active sensing interface for metformin detection. The porous mixed‐valence network enhances electroactive surface area and charge transfer, enabling sensitive and selective electrooxidation with a low detection limit.

k‐Selective Electrical‐to‐Magnon Transduction with Finite‐Element‐Resolved Sub‐Micron Nanoantennas

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 6, June 2026.
We introduce a coupled finite‐element‐finite‐difference framework that links impedance‐matched nanoantenna geometries to propagating spin‐wave dynamics, capturing skin effects, proximity effects, and taper leakage beyond uniform‐current models. Applied to coplanar‐waveguide and stripline nanoantennas on yttrium‐iron‐garnet, the simulations achieve ...

The Progress of Orbitronics: The Enhancement of Orbital Torque Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 6, June 2026.
Orbit‐torque (OT) devices attract significant attention for their low‐power consumption and high stability in applications. This review systematically outlines strategies for enhancing OT efficiency. We categorize approaches into boosting orbital currents/torques and improving the orbital‐to‐spin conversion coefficient.

Microstructural, Magnetic, and Tribological Optimization of Nano‐ZrO2 Reinforced Magnesium Matrix Composites Fabricated via Powder Metallurgy

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
Magnesium–ZrO2 nanocomposites fabricated via powder metallurgy exhibited enhanced density, magnetic saturation (up to 14 emu/g), and wear resistance. Uniform nanoparticle dispersion improved bonding and reduced delamination, demonstrating strong potential for lightweight, multifunctional applications in aerospace and automotive engineering.

A Machine‐Learning Classification for Torlesse Composite Terrane Petrofacies and its Application to Sediment Provenance

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics, Volume 69, Issue 2, June 2026.
The Torlesse Composite Terrane (TCT) forms many of the mountain ranges in Aotearoa New Zealand and has provided enormous quantities of coarse‐grained sediment to Te Riu‐a‐Maui/Zealandia's basins since the mid‐Cretaceous. Tracing the provenance of these sediments to certain regions of the TCT can indirectly reconstruct exhumation patterns associated ...

Mineralogy of Historic Scheelite Mine Tailings at Glenorchy, Otago, New Zealand

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics, Volume 69, Issue 2, June 2026.
Otago Schist orogenic mineral deposits with scheelite and gold in the Glenorchy area are mineralogically and geochemically similar to, but structurally different from, those at the active Macraes gold mine in East Otago. Glenorchy veins were mined for scheelite up to 1970s, and an abandoned processing battery site at Glenorchy is now being managed for ...
