The Fabrication and Characterization of Self-Powered P-I-N Perovskite Photodetectors Using Yttrium-Doped Cuprous Thiocyanate

open access: yesMicromachines
In the first part of this study, Y2O3-doped copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) with different x wt% (named CuSCN-xY, x = 0, 1, 2, and 3) films were synthesized onto ITO substrates using the spin coating method.

Effect of Rolling Temperature on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Mg-2Zn-0.4Y Alloy Subjected to Large Strain Rolling

open access: yesMetals, 2018
Large strain rolling (LSR) has been conducted on the Mg-2Zn-0.4Y alloy. After the 1st rolling process at 250, 300, 350, and 400 °C, the alloy demonstrates a fully recrystallized microstructure.

Rare earth elements: Yttrium and higher plants [PDF]

open access: yesZbornik Matice Srpske za Prirodne Nauke, 2010
Rare earth elements (REEs) form a chemically uniform group with very similar physical and chemical properties. The REEs include the elements scandium, yttrium, and the lanthanides from lanthanum to lutetium. They are widely distributed and present in all

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Enhancement of strength mechanical and corrosion resistance of 7055 alloy with minor Sc and Y addition

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2021
A new type of 7055-Y-Sc alloy with high strength and corrosion resistance was prepared. Eutectic Al _3 Y particles with sizes in the range of 500–600 nm were found in the as-cast structure of the 7055-Y-Sc alloys.

Kinetics Study of Yttrium Leaching from Zircon Tailings Using Sulfuric Acid

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2023
From the analysis of zircon tailings using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Yttrium is a rare earth element (REE) with the highest concentration compared to other REEs. The purpose of this study is to determine the best kinetic model for describing how sulfuric
