Mineralogy of Historic Scheelite Mine Tailings at Glenorchy, Otago, New Zealand
Otago Schist orogenic mineral deposits with scheelite and gold in the Glenorchy area are mineralogically and geochemically similar to, but structurally different from, those at the active Macraes gold mine in East Otago. Glenorchy veins were mined for scheelite up to 1970s, and an abandoned processing battery site at Glenorchy is now being managed for ...

Alloy Solutions for Ammonia Cracking: A Review
This work provides a literature overview of the nitriding and degradation of structural materials under ammonia cracking conditions and explains the known mechanisms and the gaps, where research is required. ABSTRACT Hydrogen is a key factor in energy storage and transportation, which will inevitably lead to a substantial increase in demand.

Laser Sintering and Optical Characterization of LuAG: Ce Ceramics
Additive‐free densification of LuAG:Ce ceramics is achieved via CO2 laser sintering within seconds, producing high‐density and homogeneous microstructures compared to conventional processing. However, laser‐sintered samples exhibit enhanced oxygen vacancy concentrations, leading to reduced photoluminescence intensity and a red shift in emission.

ABSTRACT Catalytic NH3 decomposition has garnered substantial attention for hydrogen transformation and storage. Ni‐based catalysts continue to suffer from limited thermal stability and suboptimal low‐temperature activity, largely attributed to an incomplete understanding of the structure‐activity relationships and reaction mechanisms governing their ...

Unlocking Energy Potential: Exploiting Anionic Redox Activity in Na‐Based Layered Oxides
Anionic redox in Na‐based layered oxide cathodes unlocks additional capacity beyond conventional transition‐metal redox limits, enabling high‐energy sodium‐ion batteries. This review elucidates coupled cationicanionic redox mechanisms across P2‐, O3‐, and related structural phases, while critically addressing key challenges such as voltage hysteresis ...

ABSTRACT The bulk photovoltaic (BPV) effect in ferroelectric (FE) materials enables the direct conversion and exchange of information between the optical and electrical domains in applications such as photonic computing and photodetection. Although the above‐bandgap open‐circuit voltage in the FE BPV effect permits a much higher photovoltage in ...

3D‐Printed Na3V2(PO4)3 Electrodes for Symmetric Sodium‐Ion Batteries
Vat photopolymerization 3D printing is used to fabricate current collector‐free Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) electrodes with complex lattice geometries. After thermal postprocessing, the printed electrodes operate reversibly as both positive and negative electrodes in a symmetric sodium‐ion battery.
