This study provides an overview of negation in Yukuna, an Arawak language ofColombian Amazonia. Yukuna has two main negation strategies, Standard Negation (unká...-la) and non-verbal negation (unká...kalé), that perfectly map onto theverbal versus non-verbal clause distinction in the language.
