Progress and prospect of the time-varying gravity in earthquake prediction in the Chinese Mainland

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2023
This paper mainly introduces the application and progress of the time-varying gravity in earthquake research in the Chinese Mainland. Since the Xingtai earthquake in 1966, China has begun mobile gravity monitoring, trying to explore the relationship ...

Study on Damage Mechanism of Waterflooding Development in Weizhou 11‐4N Low‐Permeability Oilfield

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
Weizhou 11‐4N oilfield is a medium‐low‐porosity and low‐permeability reservoir. The oilfield was initially developed by edge and bottom water energy and then transferred to water injection development. Affected by poor physical properties and heterogeneity of the reservoir, the oilfield appeared in the process of water injection development.

Characteristics and contributing factors of major coal bursts in longwall mines

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 10, Issue 4, Page 1314-1327, April 2022., 2022
1. Fifty‐four major coal bursts that caused serious consequences are collected. 2. Features and contributing factors of coal bursts are quantitatively analyzed. 3. Mining environments with high burst risk are identified. Abstract Coal burst has become one of the most serious hazards in longwall coal mines of many countries, and extensive studies have ...

Geodetic Observation and Modeling of the Coseismic and Postseismic Deformations Associated With the 2020 Mw 6.5 Monte Cristo Earthquake

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2021., 2021
Abstract The 2020 Mw 6.5 Monte Cristo earthquake occurred in the northeastern Mina deflection of the central Walker Lane Belt (WLB) in Nevada, USA. The Mina deflection represents a typical stepover zone that transfers the dextral slip in the northern Eastern California Shear Zone onto the dextral faults in the central WLB.

Mechanical Properties and Damage Behavior of Rock‐Coal‐Rock Combined Samples under Coupled Static and Dynamic Loads

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
This research is aimed at investigating the influence of the coal height ratio on the mechanical properties and damage behavior of rock‐coal‐rock combined samples (RCRCS) under coupled static and dynamic loads. For this purpose, a uniaxial cyclic dynamic loading experiment with four different coal height ratios of RCRCS was conducted.

2014年新疆于田MS7.3地震的发震构造及余震特征

open access: yesDizhen xuebao, 2021

A Multifeature Complementary Attention Mechanism for Image Topic Representation in Social Networks

open access: yesScientific Programming, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
Image topic representation in social networks is vital for people to get significant and valuable content. However, this task is difficult and challenging due to the complexity of image features. This paper proposes a multifeature complementary attention mechanism for image topic representation named CATR.
