Joint analysis of coastal altimetry and high-frequency (HF) radar data: observability of seasonal and mesoscale ocean dynamics in the Bay of Biscay [PDF]

open access: yesOcean Science, 2018
Land-based coastal high-frequency (HF) radar systems provide operational measurements of coastal surface currents (within 1–3 m depth) with high spatial (300 m–10 km) and temporal ( ≤ 1 h) sampling resolutions, while the ...

Fast Solution of 3-D Eddy-Current Problems in Multiply Connected Domains by a, v-φ and t-φ Formulations With Multigrid-Based Algorithm for Cohomology Generation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
The fast solution of three-dimensional eddy current problems is still an open problem, especially when real-size finite element models with millions of degrees of freedom are considered.

Defective eggs and their relationship to egg yield, egg and body weight in hens of five original laying lines

open access: yesCzech Journal of Animal Science, 2004
We investigated 3 985 individually housed hens of five original laying lines of two breeds RIR and BPR. The proportion of abnormal eggs out of the eggs laid before the age of 240 days ranged between 7.0% and 9.7%, in dependence on the line.

A Novel h–φ Approach for Solving Eddy–Current Problems in Multiply Connected Regions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
A novel h-φ approach for solving 3-D time-harmonic eddy current problems is presented. It makes it possible to limit the number of degrees of freedom required for the discretization such as the T-Ω method, while overcoming topological ...

Two-Dimensional Sampling-Recovery Algorithm of a Realization of Gaussian Processes on the Input and Output of Linear Systems

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
Based on the application of the conditional mean rule, a sampling-recovery algorithm is studied for a Gaussian two-dimensional process. The components of such a process are the input and output processes of an arbitrary linear system, which are ...
