Novel approach to reduce power droop during scan-based logic BIST

open access: yes
Significant peak power (PP), thus power droop (PD), during test is a serious concern for modern, complex ICs. In fact, the PD originated during the application of test vectors may produce a delay effect on the circuit under test signal transitions.

Suppression of lung adenocarcinoma migration through organelle alkalization by human lactoferrin – albumin fusion

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

IDENTIFICATION, QUANTIFICATION, AND MONITORING OF CIRCULATING TUMOR DNA IN PERIPHERAL BLOOD IN PATIENTS WITH DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA USING THE Z-SCAN TECHNIQUE

open access: yesHematology, Transfusion and Cell Therapy
Introduction: Circulating free DNA (cfDNA), particularly circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), has emerged as a pivotal tool for diagnosis, response assessment, and monitoring of various malignancies. However, in most cancers, it has yet to be incorporated into

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Crystal growth, Hirshfeld analysis, optical, thermal, mechanical, and third-order non-linear optical properties of Cyclohexylammonium picrate (CHAP) single crystal

open access: yesHeliyon
The organic single crystals of Cyclohexylammonium picrate (CHAP) had been grown using the method of slow evaporation solution growth. A determination was made regarding the solubility of the substance. The crystal's lattice cell parameters and morphology

Development and application of the Z-scan technique with Fourier analysis

open access: yes, 2007
Neste trabalho, apresentamos uma extensão da técnica de varredura-Z baseada na análise espectral da evolução temporal da transmitância, quando um feixe laser é modulado numa freqüência f. As componentes de Fourier da evolução temporal da transmitância em
