Step-Up DC/DC Converters With Cascaded Quasi-Z-Source Network

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2012
This paper is devoted to the step-up dc/dc converter family with a cascaded quasi-Z-source network (qZS-network). The cascaded (two-stage) qZS-network could be derived by the adding of one diode, one inductor, and two capacitors to the traditional quasi-Z-source inverter (qZSI).

Integrated Z-source network into semi-dual-bridge resonant converter

2017 Saudi Arabia Smart Grid (SASG), 2017
This paper presents semi-dual-bridge resonant converter using Z-source Network. The conventional semi-dual-bridge resonant converter has efficiency degradation issue when the input voltage range is wide. The Z-source network has its effect to increase the reliability of the system.

Transmission-line theory based distributed Z-source networks for power conversion

2011 Twenty-Sixth Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2011
Power converters are switching faster and faster nowadays, making the parasitic and distributed inductance and capacitance along with passive components potentially a troublesome hardware design issue. Applications with integrated or distributed LC networks are intentionally utilizing the passive parasites.

Modeling of Z-Source Network for Neutral Point Clamped Multilevel Inverter

2013 International Conference on Circuits, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT), 2013
Renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and fuel cell have a wide voltage change range due to the nature of the sources. Fuel cell stack voltage drops greatly with current and wind generator voltage varies with wind speed and control. Photovoltaic cell's voltage varies with temperature and irradiation.

Enhanced-Boost Quasi-Z-Source Inverters With Two-Switched Impedance Networks

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2017
In this paper, two topologies are presented for the enhanced-boost quasi-Z-source inverters (qZSI), namely continuous input current configuration and discontinuous input current configuration of enhanced-boost qZSI with two-switched impedance networks.
