A Third-Order Differential Equation and Starlikeness of a Double Integral Operator
Functions f(z)=z+∑2∞anzn that are analytic in the unit disk and satisfy the differential equation f'(z)+αzf''(z)+γz2f'''(z)=g(z) are considered, where g is subordinated to a normalized convex univalent function h. These functions f are given by a double

From omics to AI—mapping the pathogenic pathways in type 2 diabetes
Integrating multi‐omics data with AI‐based modelling (unsupervised and supervised machine learning) identify optimal patient clusters, informing AI‐driven accurate risk stratification. Digital twins simulate individual trajectories in real time, guiding precision medicine by matching patients to targeted therapies.

ERBIN limits epithelial cell plasticity via suppression of TGF‐β signaling
In breast and lung cancer patients, low ERBIN expression correlates with poor clinical outcomes. Here, we show that ERBIN inhibits TGF‐β‐induced epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in NMuMG breast and A549 lung adenocarcinoma cell lines. ERBIN suppresses TGF‐β/SMAD signaling and reduces TGF‐β‐induced ERK phosphorylation.

The high-redshift UV luminosity function provides important insights into the evolution of early galaxies. JWST has revealed an unexpectedly large population of bright ( M _UV ≲ −20) galaxies at z ≳ 10, implying fundamental changes in the star-forming ...

Alu RNA induces NLRP3 expression through TLR7 activation in α-1-antitrypsin–deficient macrophages
α-1 antitrypsin (AAT) is a serine protease inhibitor that plays a pivotal role in maintaining lung homeostasis. The most common AAT allele associated with AAT deficiency (AATD) is PiZ.

Knowing how proteases recognise preferred substrates facilitates matching proteases to applications. The S1′ pocket of protease EA1 directs cleavage to the N‐terminal side of hydrophobic residues, particularly leucine. The S1′ pocket of thermolysin differs from EA's at only one position (leucine in place of phenylalanine), which decreases cleavage ...

A singular nonlinear differential equation zσdwdz=aw+zwf(z,w),{z}^{\sigma }\frac{{\rm{d}}w}{{\rm{d}}z}=aw+zwf\left(z,w), where σ>1\sigma \gt 1, is considered in a neighbourhood of the point z=0z=0 located either in the complex plane C{\mathbb{C}} if σ ...

Consideration of the monodromy group of the hypergeometric equation z(1−z)w″+[γ−(1+α+β)z]w′−αβw=0, in the case of α=1/6, β=5/6, γ=7/6, shows that the global hypergeometric function solution F(1/6;5/6;7/6;z) is nonalgebraic although it has only algebraic ...
