Ethnic Conflicts, Civil War, and Economic Growth: Region‐Level Evidence From Former Yugoslavia
ABSTRACT This paper studies the long‐term effects of the Yugoslav civil war (1987–1995) on subnational economic growth across 78 regions in five former Yugoslav republics from 1950 to 2015. We construct counterfactual growth trajectories using a robust region‐level donor pool from 32 conflict‐free countries.

Hyper Zagreb Index of Bridge and Chain Graphs
Let G be a simple connected molecular graph with vertex set $V(G)$ and edge set $E(G)$. One important modification of classical Zagreb index, called hyper Zagreb index $HM(G)$ is defined as the sum of squares of the degree sum of the adjacent vertices, that is, sum of the terms $[{d_G}(u)+{d_G}(v)]^2$ over all the edges of $G$, where ${d_G}(u)$ denote ...

Hyaluronic acid: A novel approach in regenerative/reconstructive periodontal therapy?
Abstract Background Although hyaluronic acid (HA) has long been used for many medical applications, only in recent years has it gained greater popularity in the field of periodontics because of its biological effects during wound healing. Even today, most clinicians are not aware that more than one type of HA exists and that the extent of its ...

Beyond Groups? Consociational Culture and the Representation of Cross‐Segmental Interests
Abstract In deeply divided societies, consociational power‐sharing ensures representation for ethnonational groups but raises questions about cross‐segmental interests. This paper explores “consociational culture,” arguing that consociational systems create a form of political culture which incentivises the use of group‐based categories and identities ...
