On reformulated Zagreb indices
Molecular Diversity, 2004Zagreb indices were reformulated in terms of the edge-degrees instead of the vertex-degrees as the original Zagreb indices. Three types of Zagreb indices were considered: original, modified and variable Zagreb indices. It is found that the optimum exponent of the variable reformulated Zagreb M2 index (v = -1/2) is identical with the exponent of the ...

New formulae for Zagreb indices
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2017In this paper, we study with some graph descriptors also called topological indices. These descriptors are useful in determination of some properties of chemical structures and preferred to some earlier descriptors as they are more practical. Especially the first and second Zagreb indices together with the first and second multiplicative Zagreb indices

ZAGREB ECCENTRICITY INDICES OF VICSEK NETWORKS
Fractals, 2022For a connected graph, the first Zagreb eccentricity index is defined as the sum of squares of the eccentricities of the vertices, and the second Zagreb eccentricity index is defined as the sum of the products of the eccentricities of pairs of adjacent vertices.

ZAGREB POLYNOMIALS AND MULTIPLE ZAGREB INDICES FOR COMB GRAPH
JP Journal of Algebra, Number Theory and Applications, 2018Summary: A topological index of graph \(G\) is a numerical parameter related to \(G\), which characterizes its topology and is preserved under isomorphism of graphs. Properties of the chemical compounds and topological indices are correlated. In this report, we compute closed forms of first Zagreb, second Zagreb, first multiple Zagreb index and second ...

Zagreb indices for undirected graphs were introduced nearly 50 years ago. Their original development was related to uses in chemistry, but over time mathematicians have also found them to be an interesting topic of study. We define and introduce Zagreb indices for directed graphs, give results that parallel many of the conjectures and theorems that ...

On discriminativity of Zagreb indices
Iranian journal of mathemathical chemistry, 2012Zagreb indices belong to better known and better researched topological indices. We investigate here their ability to discriminate among benzenoid graphs and arrive at some quite unexpected conclusions. Along the way we establish tight (and sometimes sharp) lower and upper bounds on various classes of benzenoids.

THE ZAGREB INDICES OF RANDOM GRAPHS
Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences, 2013Several limit laws for the Zagreb indices of the classical Erdös–Rényi random graphs are investigated in this paper. We have obtained the necessary and sufficient condition for the asymptotic normality of the two Zagreb indices (suitably normalized), as well as the explicit values for the means and variances of both the indices.
