Geological Society, London, Special Publications, 1988Abstract In the south-east Zagros Mountains of Iran, deformation during the Quaternary has occurred by serial folding, with the mountain front advancing westwards at 17 mm/yr. Coastal uplift during the Holocene indicates a horizontal slip of about 30 mm/yr.
