Head and Whisker Behaviours Observed During Foraging in Northern Elephant Seals (Mirounga angustirostris)

We observed a range of behaviours during foraging, including forward swimming, vertical diving, swooping, dabbing, sweeping and rotations. Congenital Ocular Findings in an Antillean Manatee (Trichechus manatus manatus)

This study reports the first documented case of bilateral congenital cataract associated with retinal dysplasia in an Antillean manatee (Trichechus manatus manatus) calf. Ophthalmologic examination and ocular ultrasonography confirmed lens opacity at the posterior pole, which correlated with behavioural deficits consistent with visual impairment.
