Plant Species Biology, Volume 40, Issue 6, Page 572-583, November 2025.Spatial distribution pattern were studied for Ceratozamia fuscoviridis, an endangered species in Mexico, based on Ripley's K t and K 12 analysis. Clumped spatial distribution patters was found in individuals of all populations, suggesting low interaction with predators/dispersers and/or evidence of suitable microsites for cycads.

Taxonomy, 2022 Ceratozamia schiblii (Zamiaceae), a new species endemic to the highlands of eastern Oaxaca, Mexico, is described. The new species is part of the C. robusta species complex, which is a group of closely related species with very similar morphology.
