Systemic effects of sunlight: 10‐year review of cardiovascular, infection and cancer outcomes

This review highlights the systemic effects of sunlight and ultraviolet radiation. While UV radiation exposure has known cutaneous risks including photoaging and skin cancer, evidence suggests potential associations with reduced all‐cause mortality, improved infectious disease outcomes and reduced blood pressure.

Virtual brain endocasts of the palaeanodont Metacheiromys marshi and the neurosensory evolution of early Pholidotamorpha

We describe the endocranial anatomy of Metacheiromys marshi. Decrease in olfaction and eye movement control occurred through time in Pholidotamorpha and is likely linked to fossorial adaptations. Influence of Obstructive Sleep Apnea on Maternal and Perinatal Outcomes in Patients With Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Vernalization regulatory network identifies potential novel functions for genes in the HvVRN2 locus

Summary Flowering is controlled by environmental and genetic factors. Vernalization requirement in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) is determined by the allele in HvVRN1 and the presence of locus HvVRN2, which consists of two zinc‐finger and CONSTANS‐like domains (ZCCT) genes: HvVRN2a and HvVRN2b.
