Nonisolated High Step‐Up DC‐DC Ćuk Converter Based on Coupled Inductors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, Volume 54, Issue 2, Page 874-887, February 2026.
A nonisolated high step‐up DC‐DC Ćuk converter based on coupled inductors and voltage multiplier cell (VMCs) is proposed and thoroughly assessed. ABSTRACT This work presents a nonisolated high step‐up DC‐DC Ćuk converter, specifically designed for nanogrid applications.

Transient Overvoltages in Onshore HVDC Cable Joints: Surge Reflections and the Influence of Grounding Configurations

open access: yesHigh Voltage, Volume 11, Issue 1, Page 83-99, February 2026.
ABSTRACT This study examines transient overvoltage phenomena in 525 kV high‐voltage direct current (HVDC) onshore cable systems, with particular emphasis on the influence of grounding configurations in two joint types: straight‐through and screen‐separated.

Threshold-cusp explanation for X and Zcs in B+→J/ψϕK+ [PDF]

open access: yes
Several X and Zcs exotic hadrons were claimed in the LHCb’s amplitude analysis on B+ → J/ψφK+. The data shows that all the peaks and also dips in the spectra are located at thresholds of seemingly relevant meson-meson channels.

Nanocellulose–MOF‐Derived Carbon Hybrid Aerogels with Hierarchical Micro/Nanostructures for Solar‐Driven Water Evaporation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
A biodegradable, cellulose‐based bilayer solar evaporator is fabricated entirely via aqueous, sequential ice‐templating. The hybrid structure combines vertically aligned cellulose nanofibers for rapid water transport with a metal‐orgnic framework (MOF)‐derived porous carbon layer decorated with plasmonic nanoparticles for enhanced photothermal ...

Ultra High Step‐Up Soft Switching Converter Based on the Interleaved Structure

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 1, Page 540-556, January 2026.
The proposed topology provides high voltage gain and enhanced efficiency at low duty cycles, thereby reducing conduction losses in the switches. Its interleaved structure ensures current sharing, while the switches experience both low voltage and low current stress, further decreasing conduction losses.

An isolated ZVS/ZCS flyback converter using the leakage inductance of the coupled inductor

open access: yes, 1998
This paper describes a simple and effective way to modify an existing hard-switched flyback converter into a circuit with zero-voltage switching (ZVS) and zero-current switching (ZCS).

Symmetry and Duality in ZCS and ZVS Quasi-Resonant Buck, Boost, and Buck–Boost DC–DC Converters

open access: yesEnergies
Quasi-resonant (QR) DC–DC converters with PWM control achieve soft switching by shaping the commutation transient through a local resonant process. This paper proposes a symmetry-based unified perspective on classical QR converters by interpreting zero ...

A LLM‐Guided Approach for Active‐Clamped Flyback Converter of Power Processing Units in Electric Propulsion

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
In this work, a large language model (LLM)‐guided design framework which utilise the general purpose LLM and tested in design an active‐clamped flyback (ACF) converter for EP‐PPU is introduced. ABSTRACT Electric propulsion (EP), recognised for its high efficiency compared to chemical alternatives, plays an indispensable role in modern spacecraft ...
