Low Complexity Wireless Powered Information Transfer Strategy for Multiuser MIMO Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, the minimum achievable rate maximization problem for wireless-powered multiple users is investigated. Zero-forcing (ZF)-based precoding is considered for information transmission (IT) in the uplink from multi-antenna users to a multi ...

VQ‐Style: Disentangling Style and Content in Motion with Residual Quantized Representations

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Human motion data is inherently rich and complex, containing both semantic content and subtle stylistic features that are challenging to model. We propose a novel method for effective disentanglement of the style and content in human motion data to facilitate style transfer.

Persistent in vitro nociceptor hyperexcitability and axonal retraction produced by repeated paclitaxel doses

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Repeated paclitaxel exposure causes long‐lasting nociceptor hyperexcitability and axonal retraction in adult sensory neurons. Using a long‐term primary nociceptor culture, we show that hyperexcitability is mediated by sequential upregulation of NaV1.8, TRPV1, TRPA1, and TRPM8 channels.

Secrecy enhancement in wireless networks using precoding-aided rate splitting strategies

open access: yesFranklin Open
In the presence of an eavesdropper, the Rate Splitting (RS) technique has been proposed in a Multiple Access Network in this research. By using RS, a message sent from Base Station (BS) is divided into common and private sections.

Corporate social (ir)responsibility and firm risk: The role of corporate governance

open access: yesJournal of Financial Research, EarlyView.
Abstract We study how corporate governance moderates the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate social irresponsibility (CSI), and firm risk. We find that CSR reduces risk for firms with strong governance. In contrast, CSI increases firm risk more significantly for firms with stronger governance, suggesting that backlash ...

Zero-Forcing Precoding in the Measured Massive MIMO Downlink: How Many Antennas Are Needed?

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2019
In order to understand how many antennas are needed in a multiuser massive MIMO system, theoretical derivation and channel measurements are conducted; the effect of a finite number of base station (BS) antennas on the performance capability of Zero ...

Why Are All the Sets All the Sets?

open access: yesNoûs, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Necessitists about set theory think that the pure sets exists, and are the way they are, as a matter of necessity. They cannot explain why the sets (de rebus) are all the sets. This constitutes the Ur‐Objection against necessitism; it is the primary motivation cited by potentialists about set theory.

Factors and Experiences Associated With Unscheduled Hospital Readmission After Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion: A Case–Controlled Study

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 17, Issue 5, Page 1389-1396, May 2025.
The research utilized a case–control approach to contrast patients experiencing unscheduled readmissions with those undergoing planned readmissions due to staged surgery. Findings indicated a 3.88% rate of unscheduled readmissions, mainly linked to adjacent segment disease, with 3.35% necessitating reoperation.

Joint linear transceiver design over MIMO frequency selective channels

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2010
The problem of joint linear spatial Tx-Rx design was investigated for multiple-antenna non-block transmission systems over frequency selective channels. A minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion based linear transceiver was proposed.

Wireless-powered Cooperative Spectrum Sharing Networks with Full-duplex and NOMA Transmissions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research, 2019
We consider a cooperative spectrum sharing non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network, where a secondary transmitter assists transmission from a primary transmitter to a primary receiver with poor channel conditions, and at the same time transmits to ...
