Four-dimensional Zero-Hopf Bifurcation of Quadratic Polynomial Differential System, via Averaging Theory of Third Order

Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems, 2021
This paper is concerned about limit cycle bifurcations near a Hopf-double zero singularity in \(\mathbb{R}^4\). Authors apply averaging theory of third order to show that such a quadratic system can have up to 25 limit cycles. Although the title states zero-Hopf bifurcation, the paper only treats bifurcations of limit cycles.
